Diligent Corporation released a report which found that 56 percent board members use their personal email addresses for communications with the board. Even governance professionals and senior executives are also doing this. This is a major risk that needs to be addressed.

This eliminates the need to share confidential or sensitive information in unsecure email or document management systems managed by IT teams of the company. It also offers an independent platform that allows boards to continue to lead during times of crisis.
